Infinite Perspective is an umbrella name for the various creations that Michael McDermott creates. Michael makes in many mediums. His works include chainsaw carvings, light sculptures, canvas, murals, textiles, and jewelry. Michael is recognized for his stylized use of organic shapes and forms that permeate throughout his various creations. Infinite Perspective contains both an earring line and clothing line.
Michael has been called a “true soul artist” and follows a free-form process in the act of creating. Just about all of his work is done freehand.
It was at a point in Michael’s life where he found himself recovering from experiencing depths of non-ordinary reality (non-drug induced) that he deeply gravitated towards art. Art gave him an outlet. It provided him a space and means to express, as well as process, his deeper experiences of life. Since then, Michael has been creating regularly and proceeds to use art as a medium for cultivating clarity and communicating the ineffable through visuals.
